    Digital Blue Star is a photography and design studio located in Newton, Iowa. In 2002 Meghann Bestell-Eide started Digital Blue Star with one client and a camera. Today we are proud to offer multiple photography and design solutions to clients all over the country. In 2011 we launched our Natural Light Portrait option. Newton Courthouse Lighting 2011

Hundreds of Newton residents gathered downtown on Friday, November 25 to take part in Newton’s Annual Courthouse Lighting and Parade.  People enjoyed food, horse carriage rides, a parade and much more!  A new event this year was the 1st annual Young Professionals Chili Cook-off, which was won by Traditions Kitchen Store.  It was great to see our community come together and make this years event a huge success!
